What is Cloud Integration Platform?
With the popularity of cloud storage services, many people are using different cloud services at the same time for different purposes. For instance, those who need larger or even unlimited storage space (better free of charge) might turn to different cloud services to expand their storage space. Once users have multiple cloud drives, cloud integration platforms come into being, which offer a place for users to manage different cloud services and accounts easily.
There are many aspects that most users consider when they choose cloud integration platforms, including faster transfer speed (uploading/downloading), safer storage environment and more convenient management such as managing multiple cloud drive accounts and services effortlessly.
Luckily, with the development of cloud technology, there are many third-party tools that can integrate different clouds together. One of the most excellent ones is MultCloud, a reliable web-based multiple cloud drives management software. With this service, you can put all your cloud accounts (either of the same cloud brand or different) into one system and manage them efficiently.
So, how to make use of MultCloud to manage your multiple cloud services? In the following part, we will introduce how to utilize this smart service in details.
Cloud to Cloud Integration
To use MultCloud, you should first create an account by your email. This is completely free. And you should just find the “Sign up” button in the official website given above and sign in to it with the account you just created.
Secondly, add your cloud account to the platform. In its default Cloud Explorer tab, click on “Add Cloud” and select “Google Drive” in the right cloud drive list area. Here, I would like to take Google Drive as an example.
Next, if you have more than one Google account signed in currently in your explorer, it will ask you to choose one to continue. If only one Google account is signed in, it will skip this step. If none Google account is signed in currently, you will be asked to sign in your account in the next window.
Finally, "Allow" MultCloud to view and manage the files in your Google account you chosen above.
- MultCloud can only add one cloud account in one time. To add more accounts, just repeat the operations above.
- To add other cloud brand account, such as Dropbox, is similar to add Google account.
- MultCloud supports Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Amazon, Mega, and other 30 clouds in total.
When all your cloud drive accounts are added into MultCloud, you can see them on the left menu in Cloud Explorer tab.
To transfer from one Google Drive account to another, move to "Cloud Transfer" tab and specify source directory and destinations.
To sync from Google Drive to Dropbox, in "Cloud Sync" tab, input source location and target locations.
- Both cloud transfer and cloud sync allow you to specify the task name.
- Both cloud transfer and cloud sync have advanced options for you to setup. General options of them are different but the email notification and file filter are the same.
- You can also set scheduled tasks to automatically carry out cloud transfer or sync at a regular date, daily, weekly or monthly.
- For cloud sync, you can choose more than one cloud as destination. Yet, this feature is in charge. You have to upgrade to premium plan to enjoy it.
