Export Evernote to Google Drive for data backup
Everything in Evernote is stored as a note. A note could be a piece of formatted text, a full webpage or webpage excerpt, a photograph, a voice memo, or a handwritten “ink” note. There is barely nothing against Evernote. But though a happy Evernote user as you, knowing how to export data is important. At the very least, you should have a backup under your control. And Google Drive, a cloud platform for creating, sharing and downloading documents online and offline, is a good destination to save the backup. Next, we’ll show you how to export Evernote to Google Drive with Evernote itself.
Export Evernote attachment
You can either export all attachments for all Notes, or do it on a Notebook-by-Notebook basis if you want to keep your structure.
1. Highlight the Notes, on the right-hand-side click the Save Attachments button.
2. Choose a folder on computer or hard drive to save the files to.
3. Upload to Google Drive.
Export all notes or a specific note\ notebook
When you export all notes or a specific note\notebook, you have two options for exporting: HTML or Evernote XML Format (.enex).
1.Export as HTML
Evernote will create an HTML file (basically a web page you can view on your computer) for each note. If the note has attachments, there is a “.resources” folder where the attachments live.
2.Export as Evernote XML
If you choose Evernote XML, you get one big XML file. But if you don’t speak XML this isn’t much helpful, though it does preserve all your notes, tags, and data for importing into Evernote or another application. (This makes sense when you just want to backup Evernote to Google Drive, or move Evernote data to other system.)

In a word, when you export from Evernote to Google Drive with Evernote built-in feature, you can copy the attachment in its native format and then upload to Google Drive, or you can export as HTML files or an .enex backup file. But this is not good enough.
The best solution to export Evernote to Google Drive
Suppose that you want to export all your Evernote data to Google Drive in a way that you can view them as you did in Evernote - a text file note would just be a text file, a PDF would just be a PDF, and a jpg would just be a jpg. In this situation, you need to migrate Evernote to Google Drive, and MultCloud is helpful.
Step 1: Visit MultCloud: https://www.multcloud.com. Create a free account or “experience without signing up”.
Step 2: In next Window, click “Add Cloud Drives” to select Evernote and click “Next” to go to the next step.
Authorize your Evernote account by clicking the “Add Evernote Account” button, and follow the instructions to grant MultCloud access to the account you are connecting to. You can even add two or more Evernote accounts in MultCloud. Then add Google Drive in the same way.
Step 3: After you link Evernote to Google Drive, you can directly migrate files from Evernote to Google Drive by clicking “Copy”\“Copy to”, or simply drag and drop files.
Tip: If there are amount of notes in Evernote needed to be migrated to Google Drive, we suggest you switch to “Transfer” interface and schedule the task.
