The role of cloud storage
Cloud storage is a service in which data is maintained, managed and backed up remotely over a network. There are roughly two kinds of models: public cloud services as well as private ones. Public clouds like Dropbox, offer a multi-tenant environment that is suitable for unstructured data. While private clouds like ownCloud are appropriate for users who require customization and more control over data, which provide a dedicated environment protected behind a firewall.
No matter which type of cloud storage you’re using, there’s no doubt that a lot of people own at least two clouds based on different demands. But the subsequent problem arises: it is really inconvenient to switch services again and again in order to sync or share files, etc. Is there any way to realize communication between two clouds with only one login? Anyway, MultCloud did it!
Cloud connection via MultCloud
MultCloud can be said a platform for cloud integration. As long as there’s network, you’re able to access all supported cloud drives through this free web application. It works well on more than 20 cloud services: Dropbox, Evernote, Flickr, Amazon Cloud Drive, Amazon S3, WebDav, Google Drive, Box, SugarSync, OneDrive, CloudMe, Cubby, MyDrive, WEB.DE, Yandex, Hidrive, BaiDu, MediaFire, ownCloud, Alfresco, ADrive, Hubic, MySQL, MEGA and FTP/SFTP.
Communication between two or more clouds just requires a MultCloud account. Or it’s possible to experience without signing up, which will send you random username and password.
Then, add cloud drives as you wish. There’s no need to input anything if the service supports OAuth authorization. MultCloud will skip to their official sites for mandate automatically.
All preparations have been done for communication now. It’s ready to copy or move files between cloud services with right clicking or dragging directly.
Scheduled file copy is also available under Transfer tab. With the new background of transmission technology, MultCloud makes file transmission successful even your computer shut off.
Sync cloud drive is another way of communication. MultCloud provides eight sync methods.
