For all cloud drive storage services, you can upload files from local devices to them completely free relying on the applications they provide to you, like Google Drive Backup and Sync for Google users, Microsoft OneDrive program for OneDrive users and Dropbox software for Dropbox users.
Yet, if your cloud drive free quota is used up, you can’t upload anything freely; you have to either buy for extra storage space or create another free account, or, switch to another cloud drive which still has free space. Then, how to cloud upload free with unlimited space?
If you want to directly upload something from one cloud to another without downloading to local and re-uploading, how to achieve this?
And, if the target file is an online file and locates in a remote server, how to directly save it to your cloud drive?
Cloud Upload Free – Unlimited Storage
As mentioned above, you can try to create more free cloud accounts to get more free cloud storages. Yet, it is inconvenient to manage all these free accounts. Luckily, there is a professional program which can help you to do so, it is MultCloud.
1. Register MultCloud
MultCloud is a web-based program. To make use of it, you should first of all create an account of it from its official home page given above.
2. Add cloud accounts
Then, you should add all your free cloud drive accounts into MultCloud. Go to “Add Clouds” tab on the top and select the cloud brand you want to add. Then, just follow the clear steps to finish this adding. The below picture takes “add MEGA drive” for example.
- You can only add one cloud account in one time. To add more ones, just repeat the operations.
- MultCloud supports to add multiple cloud brands or add multiple accounts of the same cloud brand.
- The names of the multiple accounts (of the same brand) should be different. For example, you can’t name all your Google Drive accounts as “Google Drive”.
3. Cloud upload free to unlimited space in MultCloud
After successfully adding all your free accounts, you can view them all in Cloud Explorer tab. MultCloud has merged all their free space together into one.
Then, just choose a cloud drive and click “Upload” button on the upper left to upload files to it. You can select either upload from local (“Drop files here or click the Add button”) or upload from remote web server (“Upload URL”).
Directly Save Web Files to Cloud Drives
If you choose “Upload URL” in above options, it enables you to directly upload online web file to your cloud storage only by entering the URL link address. The only thing you should pay attention is that make sure the extension of the file name should be the same as its original one, otherwise, target file may not be viewable in destination.
Cloud Upload Free – from One Cloud to Another
If you want to directly upload a file which locates in one of your cloud account to another, MultCloud can also help. Just add both clouds to MultCloud, move to “Cloud Transfer” tab and specify the source and destination. Finally, click “Transfer Now”.
Tips: You may wonder after transfer, whether you still have the file on the original cloud. It depends, in default, you still have it there. You can also specify not to have it by checking “Delete all source files after transfer is complete” option in the Options window triggered from lower left from above screenshot.
That’s all about cloud upload free with unlimited space, from cloud to cloud as well as from online to cloud.
